GENERAL RULES
1. Smoking anywhere inside this facility is strictly prohibited.
2. Proper dressing and behavior is mandatory at all times.
3. Please keep your tickets at all times while in this facility.
4. Socks and gloves are compulsory.
5. Rental skates must be returned to our skate counter after use, with laces tied round the top individually.
6. Never run in the public areas with your skates on.
7. Use of speed skates is forbidden without permission.
8. Skaters should follow other directions provided by our staff.
SKATING RULES
The following acts are NOT permitted on the ice:
1. Skating too fast.
2. Skating in opposite direction of the traffic flow.
3. Weaving in and out of skaters.
4. Fast, sudden starts and stops.
5. Uncontrolled or reckless backward skating.
6. Skating abreast with more than 2 people.
7. Chasing, playing tag or intentionally roughness.
8. Going on the ice with street shoes.
9. Throwing objects onto the ice.
10. Bringing food and drinks onto the ice.
11.Bringing items like camera, handbags or walkman on ice without permission.
12. Carrying children in your arms.
13. Intruding into the conned area.
DISREGARD OF THE ABOVE RULES MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF SKATING PRIVILEGES.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE AND LIKEWISE AMEND THESE RULES AT OWN DISCRECTION.
SAFETY ADVICE FOR SKATERS.
1. Beginners are encouraged to take lessons before attempting to skate. Skating is easy, but learning how to fall, control of speed and turning may require some lessons. Skating practiced improperly can be hazardous to yourself and others.
2. Always make sure skate fits exactly heel to toe, never too big.
3. No matter how uncomfortable, lace skate very tight.
4. NEVER stand up straight while on the ice, you may fall backwards.
5. Keep knees slightly bent at all times and lean forward.
6. If you feel you are losing balance, hold onto your knees to regain balance. This will also keep your hands away from ice should you fall.
7. NEVER put hands onto ice when falling. Pull hands into your waist or chest.
8. NEVER hold hands with another beginner skater. This is not only dangerous to yourself, but to others.
9. NEVER skate backwards.
10. ALWAYS read warning given by guards. If you don’t you may be asked to leave the rink.
CONDITION FOR USE OF ICE SKATING FACILITY
Ice skating, like all recreational activities, has certain element of risk. The rink’s management and owners provide a facility for ice skating, providing that persons who purchase tickets/lessons, do so accepting these risk. We would caution all persons who have not been trained in this activity to understand that the Owners and Managers will not undertake responsibility for accidents, whether to oneself or caused by another skater. Parents of children under age 18 years are cautioned to realize these risks as outlined above and decide accordingly.
Use of one end of rink by the Skating School may prevent use of barrier railing in that area. Beginners are cautioned. Furthermore, use of lockers for all personal items is highly recommended.Please keep your ticket and/or receipt for reference.
